NIDO FUN DAY July 25th 2008!
What an event it was and the perfect day for it too!! We are certain that all who attended would agree it was our best one yet and was immensely enjoyed by everyone.
To all who attended we would like to say a big THANK YOU!! We may provide the entertainment but it’s you guys who definitely bring the day to life, it wouldn’t be the same without you!
Our 1st official Fun Day Rounders Tournament formed the main focus of the day. The companies vying to become the 2008 winner were AI Digital, Leapfrogg, Nido & ‘The Randoms’ (the team made up of individuals from various companies who included Baker Tilley & Priory PR & Events to name but a few). The teams battled it out and there were some amazing (and at times hilarious) displays of skill on the pitch all fuelled by the refreshing drinks provided by Waitrose! The nail-biting final was played between Nido & AI (who brought their own bat - how's that for competitive spirit!) with AI lifting the trophy as ultimate victors at the end of the day. More and more businesses both new and familiar join us for this event every year so if you are one of those faces who’s never been, we’ll expect you to be hounding us for the date for the 4th event next year!
Through the stupendous array of raffle prizes, use of The Big Lemon Bus and Gift Aid, we have raised just under £450 for Honeycroft Centre for Under 5's (that is over a £100 more than 2007, now that’s an achievement!)
